Pumpkin Spice Margaritas

Pumpkin Spice Margaritas (For Two)

Pumpkin in a margarita might sound a little odd, but this pumpkin spice margarita totally works. This cozy, festive twist on a classic margarita is a perfect drink to make for Halloween or any fall gathering. It’s got all the warm pumpkin pie flavors you love, balanced with the tartness of lime and the fizzy kick of ginger beer.

Pumpkin Spice Margaritas

To make it, all you need are a few simple ingredients: tequila, orange liqueur, fresh lime juice, a spoonful of pumpkin puree, a dash of pumpkin spice, and a touch of vanilla bean paste (or other sweetener). Shake everything together with ice, pour it into two glasses, and top each with ginger beer. You’ll end up with a smooth, lightly spiced cocktail that tastes like fall in a glass.

My dietitian disclaimer: we all know alcohol isn’t healthy, but it can fit into a balanced lifestyle if enjoyed occasionally and in moderation. For a mocktail version, you swap the tequila and orange liqueur for sparkling water or extra ginger beer with a splash of fresh orange juice. You’ll still get that pumpkin spice flavor, minus the buzz.

I hope you enjoy these pumpkin spice margaritas. If you try it, let me know what you think in the comments!
