Banana Bread Protein Bites
If you love banana bread but want a quick snack that doesn’t require baking in the oven, these banana bread protein bites are for you. They have all the classic flavors of banana bread packed into a convenient snack that’s perfect for busy days, post-workout fuel, or a sweet afternoon treat.

What I love most about these bites is that they’re not just delicious, they’re also surprisingly nutritious. Each bite contains over 6 grams of protein, helping make them more filling than your average snack. The protein comes primarily from the protein powder and almond butter, making these bites a great option when you need a quick protein boost between meals.
The almond butter and walnuts provide heart-healthy unsaturated fats, which help support fullness. They also add a rich, nutty flavor that pairs perfectly with banana and cinnamon. The banana adds natural sweetness along with carbohydrates that provide a quick source of energy. Plus, each bite contains nearly 2 grams of fiber, helping support digestive health and keeping you feeling satisfied.

These protein bites come together in just 10 minutes and require no baking, making them one of the easiest meal prep snacks you can make. Simply mix everything together, roll into bite-sized balls, and store them in the refrigerator until you’re ready to enjoy.
The key to this recipe is making sure to use plant-based protein powder. Unfortunately when mixed with wet ingredients like mashed banana and almond butter, whey or collagen proteins dissolve in the water and make a sticky dough. Plant-based protein provides the right structure and texture for perfectly soft bites.

The combination of banana, cinnamon, vanilla, and crunchy walnuts creates a flavor that tastes just like banana bread batter. They’re sweet enough to satisfy a craving but balanced enough to enjoy as part of a healthy diet. I hope you enjoy these banana bread protein bites! Leave a comment below if you try them!
