Apple Pie Protein Shake

If you’re looking for a fall smoothie that’s packed with protein and fiber, you have to try this apple pie protein shake. It’s got all the cozy fall flavors from the apple, oats, and cinnamon, but in a way that’s going to nourish your body, too. This shake has 31 grams of protein and 8 grams of fiber to keep you fuller for longer, making this a great breakfast or snack option this fall. It’s also packed with micronutrients, including vitamin E from the almond butter and calcium from the greek yogurt and milk.

The best part about protein shakes and smoothies is that you can whip them up in less than 5 minutes. Just throw all the ingredients into a blender, blend it up, and enjoy. If you’re short on time or on-the-go, you can prep the smoothie ahead of time. Pour it into an insulated travel mug and it will stay cold for hours. I even have some of my really busy patients batch prep 3 or 4 servings of smoothies at a time, freeze them in individual glasses, then move it to the fridge the night before you plan to drink it. It should be fully defrosted but still super cold by the morning.

I hope you love this apple pie protein shake. P.S. The protein powder I use in this smoothie is the vanilla Ascent whey protein. It doesnโ€™t change the flavor of the smoothie too much and I find it digests easily without upsetting my stomach.
