Cilantro Lime Edamame Hummus Dip
If you’re looking for a healthy and delicious dip to make this summer, you need to try this cilantro lime edamame hummus. It’s packed with flavor and comes together in just 20 minutes. This dip is perfect to bring to gatherings or add to your weekly meal prep rotation.

Unlike traditional hummus, which is made with chickpeas, this version uses edamame beans as the base. Edamame gives a mild flavor and bright green color while also adding plant-based protein and fiber. The fresh cilantro and lime juice give the dip a zesty, refreshing flavor that pairs well with many dipping options. You can also spread it on sandwiches, wraps, burgers, or grain bowls for an extra boost of flavor. My favorite dipping options include:
- Pita chips, tortilla chips, or whole grain crackers
- Cucumber slices, baby carrots, bell pepper strips, celery sticks, and snap peas
- Fresh sourdough bread or toasted pita bread
Each serving provides 4 grams of protein and 2 grams of fiber, making it more nutritious than many traditional party dips. The edamame contributes plant-based protein and fiber, while the tahini and olive oil provide healthy fats that help make the dip satisfying. The cilantro, lime, and spices add anti-inflammatory benefits and flavor.

You can prep a batch of this dip at the beginning of the week and use it as a snack or spread throughout the week. It stores well in the refrigerator and is a great way to add a little extra nutrition to your meals. I hope you enjoy this cilantro lime edamame hummus! Leave a comment below if you try it.
